"Jesus" was a fictional character.
If the "Judean mob" did not complain and whine about it, it would be just another sunny day for the Romans. So I blame the causers, not the actors.
This sounds like another disagreement caused by the "guns don't kill people, sucking chest wounds kill people" train of thought. The mob, and the romans, and asphyxiation from being nailed up on a cross, all killed Jesus. This is not meant to be an all inclusive list, but you get the idea.
Jesus was in violation of Roman law, which dealt very strictly with people fomenting insurrection. Pontius got wishy washy at one point, but it was still his call.
At the time, the Jewish leadership were already deprived of their right to give and execute death penalty. This is a major point when arguing about Jesus being the Messiah. According to the prophecies, the Messiah must've borned before this happened.
All of humanity killed Jesus.

Pilate was there as a governor from Rome, his job was to keep peace in Judea, had he let Jesus go shit would have hit the fan.
Stipulating the existence of Jesus, Jesus killed Jesus. The Romans just carried the spear for a while.

wowwww.... you do know that the prophecies said he would be crucified on the cross, man people try to make it so complex, it is simple, Jesus knew he was going to die. He even said that oen of his disciples would betray him. He read the prophecies, if he knew he was the messiah he knew his fate.

I agree. Jesus was a fictional character. Therefore, the authors of the books of the Bible "killed" Jesus.
It is unimportant as to who killed Jesus. No balme should be placed on no one because this is why Jesus came: to die. It was the God who sent Jesus who allowed him to die. This was God's purpose. Jesus himself knew he was to die and he did so willingly.
So for anyone to debate the issue as to who killed Jesus is pointless. If Jesus' death was due to an allergic reaction to a bee sting, it would have accomplished the same end ... a death purposed by his God and Father.
Ah, I get it now. God killed Jesus.
The religious world is also one who does not take serious investigation "seriously."
According to the Bible, God gave Satan permission to affect the faithful man, Job's life. Likewise, the Bible teaches that God "gave is only begotten Son" to save a dying world of mankind alienated from Him.
So no, God did not kill Jesus, he "allowed" his death to occur. For without it, mankind would be doomed. And too, Jesus was in agreement with this purpose.
Jesus never blamed anyone at his death. In fact, he asked forgiveness for those who did not know what they were doing.
Likewise, for those who claim they are his followers, why in the world would they want to blame someone?
Exactly. I get it now. God caused it to happen by his inaction and coerced Jesus into keeping his mouth shut about it. Jesus asked for forgiveness of the people that killed him because they were just patsies set up to take the blame for God, the real murderer. Citing Job is an excellent point. God has a rap sheet of crimes like this he committed in the past.

Yes some of them did it, but the sins
of all people including me and you nailed him to the cross. It's pointless to blame (just) Romans or Jews for that.
If sins can nail things, why don't mine ever hang up any of the paintings around here?
Note to self, stop worrying about hanging up paintings n the new place. Sloth is a sin, sins nail thing up. Therefore, being too lazy to hang up the paintings will be the fastest way to hang them.
